SPRING, TEXAS (September 4, 2018) — Today, Trust Transparency Center (TTC) announced that it has taken over the management of the Coconut Coalition of the Americas (CCA). CCA is a DC-based not-for-profit (501c6) formed to steward the responsible growth and communications surrounding coconut oil and coconut products. CCA’s membership is comprised of companies across the coconut products value chain including suppliers, processors, brand holders, retailers and service companies with a stake in and dedicated to upholding sound and credible science, responsible communications and sustainable and transparent practices around coconut products including coconut oil.
Trust Transparency Center’s Len Monheit will serve as CCA’s Executive Director, and TTC will oversee the organization’s operations and marketing.
“Coconut is hugely important to the industry and to many regions around the world”, said Monheit. “At TTC, we are proud to work with associations that require a consolidated voice, proactively and reactively, and we look forward to stewarding responsible growth of this organization and the categories involved.”
